I know I’ve said it before, but it’s always super fun shooting the weddings of friends.
Whitney and I met through one of her bridesmaids, Chelsey (we all love a bunch of local Midwest bands… hooray for music being such a unifier!). I don’t actually remember the first time I met Whitney, because I feel like I’ve known her forever. Sometimes, it’s just like that…immediate kinship.
Anyway, I couldn’t have been happier to shoot her wedding. Truly thrilled to get married, it was so exciting watching her Facebook and Twitter as she went through steps of the planning process: picking out bridesmaids dresses, getting her own dress, doing DIY projects, including her centerpieces (pieces of which I have in my home now, actually!). It was so wonderful to see everything come today in her fairytale day. It was even better to get to capture it all!
